2007 - November - Back to index |
After eleven years of John Howard's primeministership, Australia got a Labor government, lead by one Kevin Rudd, who incidentally was elected from the electoral district where I'm living. I didn't get a chance to vote (or not to vote) for Kevin, though, as my electoral enrolment address proved to be outdated despite my earlier attempt to change it. To make sure this would not happen again, I also submitted a new electoral enrolment form. The form had some quite tempting paragraphs, but I ended up not drawing the building, the flagstaff, the local supermarket and Spot's doghouse onto it.

Soundtrack of my life Time Is Running Out Muse |
Muse rocks like a moose by the Brisbane River. The pieces are perfected and the light show is spectacular, while the jam sessions performed after each and every song are something that only a band of this caliber could pull through.

Soundtrack of my life Tahroja paperilla Eppu Normaali |
After a number of years, much procrastination, and some sweat as well, itsy bitsy teeny weeny bands appeared on a gel in those locations where I had predicted them. I'm happy for the moment.
It's Melbourne Cup day again, and sparkling wine flows down the streets (from left in the photo: Satu, Giulia, Marjan, Emmanuelle and Karin). The only disappointment today is that the strong winner candidate, Miss Finland, doesn't make it to the race.
